Hello, hello, family and friends! I wanted to send one final email! This past Saturday I returned home! It was a wonderful, joyful and exciting day. I'm so happy to be home with my family!! I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father. I know Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know the Book of Mormon is a true record and that it testifies of Christ. I know that this Gospel is the only way to find true joy and peace in this life. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live! They love us! Please reach out if you ever want to talk about anything!! Those good ole West Virginian country roads have taken me home. Love,  Sister Sariah Francis

Hello Family and Friends!!! What a wonderful and busy week it has been!!!  We had MLC on Wednesday! We are supposed to have it monthly, so every second Wednesday of the month we have it! Driving to Charleston was exciting!! It's a long drive but Sister Lofgreen and I had some fun conversations and listened to some good talks! MLC was so wonderful! We talked about extending commitments to our friends and how we fulfill our purpose as missionaries. We have to be converted to Christ if we are to help others do the same. It was a powerful meeting!! We visited lots of people this week!! Sister Lofgreen and I are still figuring out who people are, haha! We enjoy it though! We have met some wonderful people! On Thursday we visited Sister Eanes! She is a sweet lady. We laughed a lot and shared some funny stories with each other. What a happy lady!! We had district council on Friday!! It was my last one. The Spanish elders had decorated the Relief Society room with black streamers an...

Hello family and friends!!  Another amazing week here in Roanoke! We had exchanges with Martinsville 1, Sister Brown and Sister Judson, from Tuesday-Wednesday! I was with Sister Brown in Martinsville! So many cool miracles! We met a lady who knows some members in the Roanoke ward! That was pretty cool! She said we could stop by anytime! Later that day we had an amazing lesson with a part member family! We shared the message of the Restoration and at the end invited the dad to be baptized. The Spirit was so strong!! He said no because he just isn't ready yet. The Sisters in Martinsville will co tinue helping him prepare!! Last week the Sisters had invited the family to day family prayer each day. We got to listen as they told us about how doing such a simple act changed each day and ultimately the week!! Prayer has power!! Good things are happening in the Sisters area!! Wednesday we exchanged back and I was with Sister Lofgreen again! We went out to try and get in co tact wit...

Good morning!!! Welcome to another week! It was absolutely amazing! So many Spirit filled meetings! Last Monday we had a quick MLC meeting with Elder and Sister Bassett! We drove the three hours to Charleston, had the two hour meeting and drove back home! It was wonderful. The next day we had a mission wide meeting, in person and over zoom, with The Bassett's. Again, so so good!! We discussed President Nelson's talk from this past general conference. It was awesome! The Spirit was so strong as we all talked and discussed together about overcoming the world. It's not an easy task but as we yoke ourselves to the Savior, just as Matthew 11:28-30 talks about, then the load becomes easier. It doesn't go away but it becomes easier!! We are working with Christ at our side! On Wednesday all three southern zones met at the Roanoke Stake Center for an in person Tri-Zone Conference with Elder and Sister Bassett!! Again, absolutely amazing!! We discussed how the Book of Mormon and...

Hello everybody!!! It was a crazy week here in Roanoke! We had exchanges with the Vinton 2 sisters on Tuesday! It was amazing! I was with Sister Hyde here in Roanoke. Sister Lofgreen went to Vinton with Sister Blake! Because it was Valentine's day we cut out lots of paper hearts and heart attacked some of our friends doors! We also brought them cookies! It was wonderful. We exchanged back later that evening.  Wednesday we had an incredible lesson with the elders friend Beth! We had somehow gotten her number and messaged her about baptism. She responded to our text a few days later and was interested! We then found out the elders were already teaching her! She is on date for March 11th. Please keep Beth in your prayers! She wanted to have Sister Lofgreen and I come over for a lesson so we did! We shared 3 Nephi 11 with her and talked about how the people were at the temple when the Savior came. We shared the Washington DC temple open house video with her and discussed the imp...

Everybody!!! It's been a good a little while, haha! These past few weeks have been crazy!! We had transfers! Leaving Fairmont was very bittersweet. I love that cute little city with my whole heart! So many amazing people and I'm so glad I could meet them. Here we are in Roanoke, Virginia!!! It has been a very wild time! My new companion is Sister Lofgreen! She is the coolest! We get a long so good! Each day is full of fun, laughter and hard work! We whitewashed into the area so neither of us really have a clue about what's going on, haha! Each Day we get up and go to work!  Roanoke is a huge city! It's the biggest city in our mission. It's also very different from West Virginia. It feels flat to me and there are actually huge mountains here! I've grown so used to seeing rolling hills of green broccoli that to see flat ground is a little weird. The ward is amazing!!! It's a huge family ward and the average age is about 30 instead of 85! We have had so many me...

Everybody!!!! Oh it was a lovely week!! We had tri-zone conference part 2 this past Tuesday! It was wonderful!! We taught a break out room with the Zone Leaders. We were assigned to talk about Nephi building a ship and how we can exercise faith like he did. President and Sister Lindahl talked about diligence. Sister Lindahl said that when we are diligent our joy in the work increases (paraphrased). That is so true!! When we are obedient and do our very best we find joy!! Being diligent in our efforts is the thing to do! It will bring forever joy. I know I'm not perfect, I'm far from being a perfect missionary but that doesn't mean I can't be diligent and do my best. The Savior will make up the difference, how ever much it may be. The coolest thing happened on Wednesday!! A member from the ward, Sistet Etzi, always wanted to serve a mission but had joined the church after she had passed the age requirement. So, on Wednesday she came knocking with us!! We stopped by a ma...
