Merry, merry Christmas, everyone! Oh what a wonderful time of the year! We had an amazing week here in Barboursville! Tuesday was pretty exciting! We were in the middle of daily planning and Sister Humphries suddenly started throwing up! So, she went back to bed. Because of this Sister Morales and I had to figure out how to do everything we needed to without leaving the apartment. We did lots of Facebook Finding! Sister Humphries was feeling a lot better by about 3 pm so we were able to get outside for a little bit! There is never a dull moment as a missionary! Wednesday was Zone Conference!! We drove to Sissonville because it was a combined zone conference with the Charleston Zone! President and Sister Newman taught for about 45 minutes and we then went over the missionary handbook with the Assistants for about 15 minutes. The Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders did a live nativity! It was so beautiful! We ate lunch and then had a Christmas Party! We painted ornaments and had a g...

Merry Christmas from West Virginia! First, I just realized I forgot to change the subject of last week's email to the correct song of the week, haha. So sorry! I had two songs I was planning to do. "I Know He Lives" will be coming in a later email, maybe. Anyway! It was a wonderful week here in Barboursville! We have had more miracles and blessings! The biggest one is that we were messaging a man on Facebook and he agreed to meet and listen to a message from us! We called and shared part of the Restoration with him and he agreed to learn more! We have met twice with him over messenger video chat and then asked if he would be willing to learn more from local missionaries. He agreed and gave us his address so we could figure out which missionaries are closest to him! It was so amazing! We referred him to the elders in his area! His name is Bobby. Keep him in your prayers everyone! Another amazing miracle we had was on Thursday we met with a sweet lady who previously ...

Well, hello everyone! Another week already come and gone. What a week of Miracles! Tuesday and Wednesday were very bittersweet days. We visited a lot of members so Sister George could say goodbye to them. We also had an early Christmas! I am going to miss her so much! She has been an amazing trainer! I learned so much from her! I love you, Sister George! We had transfers on Thursday! At 9:30 we drove to the Charleston church building and dropped off Sister George. But! We picked up Sister Morales and Sister Humphries! They are both so amazing! Sister Humphries has been out for 5 months and has such a strong desire to do the work! I have loved serving with her these past 3 days and am so excited to see what we can accomplish this transfer! Sister Morales is new! She came from the MTC! She has a strong desire to do the work but feels bad that she doesn't know it all yet. Each day I do a roleplay with her to help her learn and understand more! She has already made so much progre...

Wow! What a week! I will begin with the sad news. We have transfers this week and Sister George will be transferring to a new area! It will be sad to say goodbye. She has been such an amazing trainer and I have learned sooo much from her!! I'm going to miss her a lot. But the Lord needs her somewhere else now! The exciting news is that I will be in a trio once again here in Barboursville! I am super excited!! One of the missionaries coming is already here in the mission and the other one will be from the MTC! A brand new missionary!! Sunday night President Newman called and asked me to be a trainer next transfer! So, it will be a very exciting next few weeks! I am very nervous about it but I know that the Lord is watching over me and He will be right beside me as I help train another of His servants in this incredible work! Last Monday we got a call from Jack. He said he decided to stay with his religion. He was glad he came to church but doesn't want to learn more about the ...
