Sister Sariah Faith

 Hello everyone! What a week. We will start with the sad news. On Thursday we had transfers and Sister Mira went home. She completed her mission! We drove to Charleston around 9:30 and arrived around 10:30. We said hi to the other missionaries we knew and prolonged saying goodbye to Sister Mira for as long as possible! But, alas, the goodbye did have to come at some point. It was a very bitter sweet moment. She will be greatly missed but Sister George and I have had an incredible last few days! So, on Saturday we had a lesson fall through. We decided to go street contacting at the Milton Flea Market. We decided we would try to invite 10 people to church and hand out 1 Book of Mormon. On the way there I wrote "Join us this Sunday @ 11 am" on the back of 10 pass along cards, along with our number and the address for the church.   Family! Friends! Hello! Last P-Day my companions and I had lunch at this funny little place called Hillbilly Hotdogs. I was super skeptical about eating there because it looked kinda old and run down. BUT! Oh man!! Probably one of the BEST hot dogs I have ever eaten!! And! That's not even the best part! They also had fried pickle spears! So yummy!!! I really enjoyed it and I want everyone to remember that first impressions are not what we should judge the world by. If anyone is ever in WV go to Hillbilly Hotdogs!!! I give it 5 stars, haha. On Tuesday we had a lesson with David! We taught him the Word of Wisdom and were a little scared about how it would go. But nevertheless he took it really well! It was a little funny though because at first he was confused! He asked us why we don't drink coffee and tea because God said to eat anything that comes from the earth and coffee and tea come from plants.  Family and Friends, Hello from West Virginia!!! What a week!!! Last Monday was District P-Day! We all met at the Mall and got lunch at the food court. Afterward we went bowling and oh man.... I'm terrible at bowling!!! But honestly it was so much fun!!! There are 5 Elders and 3 Sisters in our district so one of the elders joined us. He said he wasn't very good at bowling and proceeded to WIN overall! Like out of all us missionaries he won!! It was funny. I got 120 points combined between the 2 games we played. I guess it's not that bad but also it kinda was.... We had a great lesson with Brandon that evening and had Brother Hunt join us! He and his wife recently moved into the ward. They are both so kind!   Hello y'all!! Wow! What a week!! It was full of miracles and so many amazing experiences!! On Tuesday we had a lesson with David! We taught him the Plan of Salvation and then invited him to pray about baptism! Oh my goodness it was honestly a little scary.... I thought he would say no or get mad at us but I stead he said he would! The rest of the week my companions and I were praying he would receive his answer and have the faith to act. On Sunday guess who walked in?! David!! He looked so happy and said on Saturday he had prayed and God had told him it was time to change. So he won't be going back to his church! He wants to just come to ours for a while! He has been going to his church for the past 16 years but said that God had told him he needed to change so he won't be going anymore!   Hello everyone! What a week! So many cool things to talk about!!  On Tuesday we met with David from Ireland! He had read the Restorstion pamphlet and when asked what he'd thought of it he replied, " I believe it's TRUE. All of it." Sister George, Sister Mira and I were a little surprised! He also said he wants to come to church again and stay for classes so he can hear what we talk about. We have another appointment with him this week and will be discussing the Plan of Salvstion. Please pray for him!  On Wednesday, I had my first zone conference! What a wonderful experience! We met at the Stake Center here in huntington which was nice! We didn't have to travel as far as some of the missionaries did. President and Sister Newman talked to us about the Doctrine of Christ.
