Dear Sister Sariah Francis,


We are excited for the beginning of your mission next Monday, August 23rd. Here are the final details for your missionary preparation and training experience.


Sunday - August 15th - Please join Papa and Mama for a final missionary preparation and temple discussion. Papa will then give you a final district president's interview.


Monday - August 16th - Our family will have a special missionary family night.


Tuesday - August 17th - Papa will give you a temple recommend interview.


Wednesday - August 18th - 6pm - We are so excited to take you to the Provo Temple to receive your temple endowment. This is a very sacred time.


Sunday - August 22nd - 9am - We look forward to hearing you speak in church as you testify to the members of the Taylor Monument Ward.


Please be set apart on Sunday evening, August 22nd by your dad, President Francis.

You may then sleep one more evening with your family at Grammy and Grandpa

Joe's house.


Your online MTC will take place at 1457 Flint Meadow Drive in Kaysville, Utah. You should arrive on Monday no later than 8:30am so that you can bid farewell to your family and join Elder Francis for your first MTC lesson at 9am.

Please bring only your missionary luggage. You should also bring your personal laptop to complete your training. You will wear missionary attire each day and live the missionary schedule: You should also focus on missionary skills such as walking biking, testifying, teaching, learning, and writing.


On Wednesday, September 1st you will be driven in the Francis van to Provo, Utah where you can enjoy lunch with your immediate siblings, Emma, Sam, and Emily.

They will take you to the MTC for your Provo campus check-in between 12 and 2pm.


We are so grateful that you have the opportunity to go to the Provo Missionary Training Center. You will be the 8th member of our family to learn, study, and grow there. We testify that the MTC experience is sacred and can be a major foundation in your personal life, testimony and in your mission.


We love you and are so excited for your mission as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

 Oh hello wonderful family and friends! Welcome to another week in the life of a missionary here in Barboursville, West Virginia. This week was full of cold weather, tracting and miracles! Let's jump in! The most amazing thing happened on Saturday night! We were inviting as many people as we could to attend church with us the next day. We messaged David, not really thinking about him coming to church even though we were trying to invite lots of people. We asked how he had been and he said he had been feeling a little down the past few days. "Fill the World with Love" - Mark 4:39 - March 6, 2023

  Hello family and friends!!  Another amazing week here in Roanoke! We had exchanges with Martinsville 1, Sister Brown and Sister Judson, from Tuesday-Wednesday! I was with Sister Brown in Martinsville! So many cool miracles! We met a lady who knows some members in the Roanoke ward! That was pretty cool! She said we could stop by anytime! Later that day we had an amazing lesson with a part member family! We shared the message of the Restoration and at the end invited the dad to be baptized. The Spirit was so strong!! He said no because he just isn't ready yet. The Sisters in Martinsville will co tinue helping him prepare!! Last week the Sisters had invited the family to day family prayer each day. We got to listen as they told us about how doing such a simple act changed each day and ultimately the week!! Prayer has power!! Good things are happening in the Sisters area!! "Born on Christmas Day" - November 29, 2021

 Family and friends, hello! It has been quite an exciting week! We had exchanges on Tuesday with the Sister Training Leaders and there were SO MANY MIRACLES! Wow!! I went to Ashland, Kentucky with Sister Walker. We began with doing some service at a clothes store. From there we drove to some recent referrals homes and knocked on their doors. We gave a Plan of Salvation pamphlet to one of them! The last one we tried to visit didn't live at the address listed so we knocked on some of the neighbors doors! We had a wonderful conversation with a lady who is friends with people who attend the Ashland ward! She accepted a Book of Mormon so hopefully something comes of it! This neighborhood was also right along the Ohio River! It was beautiful!! That evening we were calling a few other referrals and two of them who haven't been very responsive in the past answered!
