After a wonderful 6 months here in Barboursville, West Virginia I am being transferred! It has not quite set in and still seems unreal. I don't know where I am going yet but I find our tomorrow night! I have loved my time here in Barboursville but am also excited to move forward and see new places! It was quite a week! We had interviews with President Newman on Wednesday. It was wonderful! I know that he was called by God to be here and I am grateful that he is my mission president. We then had exchanges with the Sister Training Leaders! Sister Humphries and I went to Ashland, KY with Sister Sheffield and Sister Morales stayed in Barboursville, WV with Sister Ingram! It was a great day in Kentucky! We had lunch with two sweet ladies from their ward and had many lessons! I loved it! We also g...

Oh, hello, hello, everyone!!! It was a wonderful week and the Lord is so good to us! We started the week off with some tracting on Tuesday! We met a lot of very nice people who asked us to come back the next day. So! What did we do? We went back on Wednesday! The first person we had a lesson with was Paul. He has just recently wanted to have God back in his life. He attends a few of the local churches. We began teaching him the Restoration and gave him a copy of the Book of Mormon. We then set up to come again on Saturday! When we went by on Saturday we invited him to church! He said he wouldn't be able to come because he was getting baptized the next day. We were very bold in telling Paul his baptism would not be done by the proper authority. We invited him to pray that night about what we had told him and again invited him to church if he chose to come. I know the Spirit was speaking through my companions and I as we testified to Paul about the Priesthood Power and Authority tha...

Hello family and friends! I am so excited to tell you all about this past week! Happy Valentines Day!!!!! I love you! We did service at the Food Bank on Tuesday. It was so wonderful!! We helped put food into boxes! So, funny story that I promise is related to the Food Bank. Sister Humphries has a really pretty flower that she named Tilapia, after the fish! Haha! We love it! So, at the food bank on Tuesday, we were putting packaged meat into boxes and there was some fish! Well, there were two whole Tilapia fish! So I took a picture to commemorate Sister Humphries flower! It was so funny!! Hope that all made sense! We had district council on Wednesday this week because the Zone Leaders were visiting other districts on Thursday and Friday. It was so wonderful! Afterward, we had a lesson with Sister Sisler from the ward! We read 2 Nephi 32 and talked about the influence of the Holy Ghost. We then met with Willis and Mary! They are so sweet! I love them, even if Willis is a little stub...

Hello everyone! What a week! This week we had Zone Conference!!! And guess what?! My companions and I got to help teach with the Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders!!! It was soooo much fun!! The focus was on Social Media! Well, we are the social media leaders for our zone so they asked us to help! We gave some great tips and ideas of how to effectively Facebook Find and how to be an effective Facebook Poster! It was so much fun!! (If a missionary ever friends you on Facebook you should friend them back!!!) I also got to help out with the musical number! The sisters in Gallipolis, Ohio needed another sister to sing with them! We sang the EFY Theme "As Sisters in Zion/We'll Bring the World His Truth." A group of four elders sang the mens part. Then the whole zone sang when it got to where the sisters and elders sing together! It was so powerful! I love that song!!! Sister Morales started having some covid symptoms so we self quarantined from Thursday to this morning....
