Merry Christmas!!!!!  It was quite an exciting week here in Fairmont, WV! I am so excited to tell you all about it! We had Zone Conference on Tuesday! It was sooo good! We got up at 5:30 and drove to Sissionville, WV. We arrived early so we could practice the songs we were singing with some of the other missionaries. At 11 am everything started! There were six different "stations" we traveled around to. Each one related back to Jesus Christ's birth in Bethlehem. It was so cool! For the last half of zone conference we had a musical devotional. It was beautiful! There were different Christmas songs that went along with people reading the Christmas story. One of my favorites was when we sang "Mary, Did You Know?" Mary was the mother of the Son of God. Did she comprehend all the magnificent things He would do in His life when she held Him in her arms that night? It was a beautiful performance and I'm so grateful for the Spirit we could feel there.  Wednesday wa...

MERRY CHRISTMAS, everyone!!! It's hard to believe that Christmas is this week! But, let's first discuss last week. My new companion is Sister Nelson! We both came out at the same time! We have had a wonderful time together! I'm excited to see what these next 7 weeks will hold! We met with Donald and Ashley on Monday. It was a wonderful lesson! We talked about patriarchal blessings because Sister Haws had brought them up last time. Donald was very fascinated with it. Please continue to keep them in your prayers! We had a lot of wonderful member lessons this week! Sister Livingston was saying goodbye to everyone. It was bittersweet. I am so grateful to be serving here in Fairmont with this wonderful ward! There are so many amazing members!! What a blessed place to be. Thursday was cool. We drove down to Charleston and I said goodbye to Sister Livingston. She has definitely become one of my bestest and greatest friends. I am going to miss her so much!! On the flip sid...

Hello family and friends!! We had a blitz with the Morgantown Sisters Tuesday morning! I was with Sister Webb! We knocked a couple doors and had some crazy experiences! The first door was a couple who was previously taught by missionaries! The lady was sick but said to come back, so that was exciting! We knocked the next door and after knocking two times a lady opened the door and immediately slammed it shut. It was sad but we then got to talk to her neighbor who was outside. He wasn't interested but it was a positive contact! We were then looking for a person named Hannah. We knocked on the door that was supposedly hers and a nice lady answered. We asked if she was Hannah and she said no. We then asked if we could still share a message with her even though she wasn't Hannah. She looked at us and said, "But I'm not Hannah." We said, "We know you aren't Hannah but could we still share a message?" She proceeded to tell us that we should be teaching t...

Hey everyone! Happy Monday! And happy December! Kinda crazy it's almost the new year. Tuesday we learned a lot about family history! A sweet sister in the ward helped Sister Livingston and I! It was so much fun! We found out that Sister Livingston is related to a line of Scottish kings and that I am related to Charlemagne! Pretty cool! We also got back in contact with a lady we met a couple weeks ago! Her name is Lani! We were stopping by one of her neighbors but as we passed her house she was outside on her porch! So, we stopped and talked. She let us know her work schedule so we are planning to stop by later this week! We had exchanges with the Clarksburg sisters from Thursday to Friday. It was awesome! I was in Clarksburg with Sister Belliston! We came out together so it was a lot of fun being companions for the day. She is such an amazing missionary! We got to do some service, handing out lunches for the homeless. We had an interesting conversation with a guy who ca...
